Welcome in Assen!
The city Assen developed late in the 18 century, when this city became interesting by the weldery in the provence. We show you a few examples of remarkable houses like House Overcingel and the Witte huis (White House). Also we will visit the so called “Asser Palaces".

We take you further to the big neoclassisistische Palace of Justice, where the heading ““Sine justitia nulla libertas” (without justice no freedom) is written and we will take a look at the Johan Frisokazerne (barracks), which is build around 1900.
