Hoorn is the kind of place where a ‘not-to-do-list’ would work better than a ‘to-do-list’, since there’s so much to do and see over there!
What does the program bring this afternoon? No hurries, we won’t try to see it all this afternoon. We’ll have brunch in three restaurants and in the mean time we’ll be walking through the city.
This city has a remarkable history, especially from the times of the Dutch East India Company (Verenigde Oostindische Compagnie, VOC). Ships were coming and going, filled with spices! You can almost still smell it! And there’s the Westfries Museum, which is situated in a beautiful building. And we can go on and on like this for hours!
To make this tour even more adventurous and exciting, we’ll visit De Keern, the spot where Klaas Bruinsma, Holland’s criminal nr. 1, was killed in 1991. The killers haven’t been found yet, hopefully we won’t bump in to them during our visit!

And...in this way you will not be surprised afterwards!
