Eindhoven is a great city to walk around for the afternoon! Lighting guaranteed!
The old light bulbs are out of fashion. Especially in Eindhoven, where electronics company Philips was founded, a lot of energy is invested in energy saving bulbs or so-called LED-lights, which are especially handy when it comes to outdoor lighting. And that’s exactly what Eindhoven needs during its yearly Lichtjesroute (Route of Lights)!
During our interesting walk through Eindhoven, we will be able to enjoy very tasteful dishes. Each course of the brunch will be served in another restaurant. When we’re not eating, we will visit the oldest light bulb factory, look at the Catharinakerk (Catharinachurch), check out the impressive Admirant-building and take a stroll through the Philips van Lennep-park.
There’s art and architecture everywhere! What to think of the Flying Pins at the Kennedylaan, which turns this lane into a huge bowling alley! And by visiting the Historic Open Air Museum, you will be able to have a walk in a medieval ambience, while learning everything about the history of the province Brabant.
