11.00 - 11.30 Coffee and cake We start the day with a delicious cup of coffee and cake in a typical coffee-house in Haarlem.
11.30 - 13.00 Frans Hals Museum The museum has been named after the most renowned painter of Haarlem of the 17th Century. A compilation of 17th Century portraits, still life and genre exhibition.
13.00 - 14.00 Lunch We’ll start the afternoon with an extended lunch in a cosy restaurant, right in the middle of the old centre of Haarlem.
14.00 - 17.00 GPS City game We have plotted a fun scouting expedition tour for you in the centre of Haarlem during which you will have to execute a number of difficult assignments. Sounds easy, doesn’t it? Especially when you know that you may use the GPS. Peace of cake don't you think? You’ll find out! It is namely not a Tom-Tom or something similar where all the narrow streets, alleys and canals are indicated but a professional piece of equipment that only gives starting- and end points and the shortest route in a straight line! You yourself will therefore have to search for the correct route and in between execute assignments because we believe that you’ll want to take home the main prize ...!
Therefore, remember: don’t go back but just find the quickest route!
