11.00 - 13.00 Guided Tour Whoever wants to know more about the history of the city of Groningen or wants to view the prettiest parts of the city will be at the right address! A visit to the city becomes something very exciting when a guide shows you these places. Groningen was nominated the nicest downtown city of the Netherlands in 2005. Certainly a good reason to visit and to discover for oneself whether it deserves this title.
13.00 - 14.00 Lunch After the tour, the guide will take you to an excellent restaurant where an extensive lunch awaits you and where you can quietly share all your impressions once more with your peers.
14.15 - 15.15 Martini Tower From here you can, from the southern side, overlook the city. You can also carry on further to the top to right behind the clocks. From here, one can view the entire city.
15.15 - 17.00 Cocktail workshop
You will be instructed into the basic cocktail shaking techniques during the cocktail workshop. The different shaking techniques and the philosophy behind the making of the perfect cocktail will be explained to you. After this workshop, you will not only be able to shake cocktails correctly but also explain what you are making and why your cocktail will taste so nicely.
As soon as the cocktails have been enjoyed, it will sadly be time to say good-bye to your Holland Tour guide and the beautiful city of Groningen. Alternatively, maybe not! Of course, you can end this lovely day with a drink or a dinner. Enquire about the various possibilities!
