11.00 - 13.00 Van Gogh Museum A visit to the Van Gogh Museum is a unique experience. The museum contains the largest collection of paintings by Vincent van Gogh in the world. It provides the opportunity to keep track of the artist's developments, or compare his paintings to works by other artists from the 19th century in the collection. The museum also holds an extensive offer of exhibitions on various subjects from 19th century art history.
13.15 - 14.45 Lunch boat trip A beautiful passage (1,5 hours) through the Amsterdam ring of canals. Along the Singel, to the Wallen (Red-light district), under the many bridges, seeing exciting spots, all of this seen from the water. We will at some time enjoy an extensive lunch with drinks included (beer, house wine, coffee, tea or soft drinks).
15.00 - 16.30 Heineken Experience After lunch you will visit the Heineken Experience. Here you will experience the birth and the history of this brand name and its beers. You will experience what a small bottle goes through during bottling and you will be tested on your knowledge of beer and its preparation. You will naturally also be tested to see whether you like beer...
16.30 - 19.30 Bar hopping To-day we will go, together with our experienced guide, bar hopping along a number of the most beautiful, special and pleasant bars of Amsterdam. We will learn the pub’s history and get to know the owners. Thirsty? Well, why not try something different in each pub?
By the way, don’t worry! The guide knows the way home!
